Below are some sketches i scanned in from my sketchbook of little characters i could use for my animations. I tried to draw a variety of charcters with different movement and expressions to see how they would turn out.

On this page i continued with the flame and gave it different expressions. This is the one i ended up using in my short cell animation video.

I really like this character above but as i chose stop motion i wasnt sure how easy he would be to make out of plasticine and what different movements i could make him do as jumping would be rather difficult to film.
