Research

Model Animation:-

Stop-motion created to interact with and exist as a part of a live action world. Intercutting matte effects, and split screens are often employed to blend  stop-motion characters or objects with live actors or settings.

Computer Animation:-

Including alot or a variety of techniques, the main factor being that the animation is created digitally on the computer.

2D Animation:-

Figures are created/edited on the computer using 2D bitmap graphics or created and edited by vector graphics. This includes automated computerized versions of tradtional animation techniques such as tweening, morphing, onion skinning etc...

3D Animation:-

Digitally modelled and manipulated by an animator. In order to manipulate a meshit is given a digital skeletal structure that can be used to control the mesh. This is called rigging. Well made animations can be difficult to distinguish from live action and are more commonly known and used for visual effects used for more recent movies.
